Boring VFC contributes to Hose2Habitat

What to do with a ton of hose that failed service testing and was past its useable life? Well have you ever visited a zoo and seen the hammocks or some of the toys in the exhibits and said that looks like old fire hose? Hose2Habitat takes this donated hose and lets schools and various community groups contribute to making the animal exhibits more enjoyable for the animals and the family's visiting ... Building Fire at BGE Substation

1st. Leiutenant Charles Stinchcomb, July 13

During the storms units were alerted to responded to the BGE Substation on Cockeysmill Rd in Reisterstown for a building fire. E412 arrived to find a building well involved, crews staged and waited for BGE to give the okay that power was out. Rescue 435 from BWI Fire-Rescue was utilized to suppress the fire. All units cleared a short time later, no injuries to fire dept personell or civilians. ... (Full Story & Photos)

MVC on Hanover Pike

1st. Leiutenant Charles Stinchcomb, March 28

Units responded for a head on motor vehicle collision on Rt. 30 Hanover Pike at Frye Road. Units reported minor injuries though Rt. 30 remained close for a short period of time for clean up of debris and removal of vehicles.
