MVC on Hanover Pike

1st. Leiutenant Charles Stinchcomb, March 28

Units responded for a head on motor vehicle collision on Rt. 30 Hanover Pike at Frye Road. Units reported minor injuries though Rt. 30 remained close for a short period of time for clean up of debris and removal of vehicles.

A new skid unit for Brush 428

While the crew was filling in company 31 additional members went to the Firestore to pick up our new skid unit for Brush 428. It will be replacing a homemade unit that was built in the 1980s using a water tank and reel from a 1934 dodge fire engine. The skid unit will reside in the back of utility 429 until additional repairs are completed on B-428.

Engine and Utility take in MVC on N. Rolling Rd.

8 Volunteers attended Emergency Fire Dispatch training at Career Sta.3 (woodlawn) @ 19:00 hrs. after clearing training Engine 424 and Utility 429 headed home, while returning to the station Engine and Utility came across a motor vehicle accident on N.
